Monthly Game Night

3RD THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH FROM 4-6PM

Game nights provide a refreshing break from our screen-dominated lives! They offer a chance to connect with others face-to-face and enjoy some light-hearted competition. Whether it’s board games, card games, or even trivia, they bring out the fun and laughter.

It’s refreshing to engage in some good old-fashioned fun without the constant presence of screens. Plus, it can be a great way to discover new games and even create some memorable moments.

Big Potato Game's The Chameleon

• In this board game everyone knows the secret word, except for the player with the chameleon card, who is trying to pretend they know the secret word too. Will you catch them out?
• 3-8 players, ages 14 plus, 15 min per game

Unstable Game's Here to Slay

• A Strategic Card Game. A Role-Playing Adventure. A Dangerous New World.
• In Here to Slay, the first person to successfully slay three monsters, or build a full party with six classes, wins the game!
• Will you work to build a party of highly-skilled Heroes, create a lean team of monster-killing machines, or set out to screw over your friends at every turn?

Exploding Kitten's Happy Salmon

• In Happy Salmon, each player starts with a stack of cards, each showing a simple action needing a partner. Players shout their actions, searching for matches. Once a match is found, both complete the action and discard their cards. The first player to discard all their cards wins!
• 3-8 players, ages 6 plus, 90 sec per game

Avalon Hill's Betrayal at House on the Hill (3rd Edition)

Exploding Kitten's Really Loud Librarians

• Engage in Really Loud Librarians, a fun word-shouting game for all ages.
• Draw category cards and shout words that match the category and letter on the race track. This game turns your useless knowledge into useful points, making it one of the most fun games for gatherings.
• 2 or more players, ages 8 plus, 20 min per game

Nintendo Switch

The Library has purchased a Nintendo Switch with two controllers for use during Monthly Game Nights. 

Due to high replacement cost, attendees interested in playing games on the Switch must have an active CW MARS library card and their account must be current and in good standing (no fines).

Adult supervision is also required for children under 13 years of age.
